The RhB will implement various offer stages with the Retica 30 and Retica 30+ offer concepts in the coming years. For the new hourly RE through connection Landquart - Chur, the RE must be accelerated on the Landquart - Chur section. By accelerating the Untervaz - Chur section from the current v = 100 km/h to the new v = 110 / 120 km/h, the tense operating situation of the RE is to be eased. In addition to the replacement of the switch 51 in Untervaz and geometric adjustments in the switch area, adjustments to SA systems, cable systems, contact wire and low-voltage systems are also required. Furthermore, substructure renovation and drainage must be carried out in the switch area. The contract includes the new construction and extension of the substructure up to and including ballast, incl. drainage, as well as the execution of the civil engineering works for cable, safety and contact wire systems.
