Within the planned construction project, a new building for the DRF-Luftrettung is to be constructed, designed for 24-hour operation. The planning includes the construction of a new hangar building with an integrated social wing, two new parking positions for helicopters, and a refueling station. The existing FATO is to be structurally adapted to the new legal requirements. On a construction site of approximately 1,123 square meters, south of the existing air rescue station, a rescue helicopter of the type H145 (five-blade rotor) from Airbus Helicopters - Christoph 47 - is to be newly stationed. Pursuant to the decision of the Ministry for Finance and Digitalisation MV, this construction project will be implemented as a BIM pilot project. The following BIM-specific roles are expected to be deployed as part of the project implementation: BIM overall coordination and BIM author. The model-based project processing will be carried out in performance phases 2-8 according to HOAI. In addition, the overall performance is to include processing up to performance level 5 or performance phase 9 HOAI (object care and documentation).
