Renovation and modernisation of a barn into a daycare centre with a therapeutic practice and office spaces for the administration of the municipality of Fronhausen. The planned childcare facility will comprise four groups. In addition to a nursery group, three mixed-age groups will be created. On the ground floor, there are two group rooms with associated ancillary spaces and sanitary facilities, as well as a management office and staff area. In the western wing, the dining room and kitchen, the movement/multi-purpose room, storage and utility rooms are planned. In the main entrance area, an elevator (15 persons/1250 kg) and a staircase will provide access to the first floor and the attic. The first floor will be divided into a southern and a northern area. In the south, there are two more group rooms, differentiation and playrooms, as well as sleeping areas. In the northern half of the first floor, in addition to a family office, a therapeutic practice will be established. Additional emergency exits from the first floor directly to the outside lead via a colonnade with emergency staircase to the outdoor area. On the attic floor, there are technical rooms, storage as well as office and archive rooms of the municipal administration. The building must be sufficiently barrier-free and accessible. In addition, all requirements for daycare centres must be taken into account. When building, priority must be given to the use of sustainable and low-emission building materials and energy efficiency. The concerns of monument preservation and the challenges of renovation in the historic fabric must be given priority at all times. The services to be awarded, door, window and glazing works and glazing works wood-aluminium, include 4 units of wood-aluminium external doors, 59 units of wood-aluminium windows, 3 units of wood-aluminium doors (installation in aluminium mullion-transom facade approx. 11 sqm) and 3 units of wood-aluminium windows (installation in aluminium mullion-transom facade approx. 4 sqm).
