Oulun vesi -liikelaitos (hereinafter also "Purchasing Unit") invites applications for participation in the procurement procedure and its annexes for the main contract for the expansion of the new surface water plant to be built in Hintta, using a competitive dialogue procedure. The subject of the procurement is the main contract for the expansion of the new surface water plant to be built in Hintta. The objective of the procurement is to ensure the sufficiency of Oulun city's economic water and the operational reliability of water supply, as well as to enable the basic repair of the current water plant. The contract type is a comprehensive contract. The expansion project of the Hintta surface water plant includes, according to the plans, the construction of the surface water plant as a comprehensive contract. The surface water plant is built to be put into use as a comprehensive contract. The surface water plant expansion project includes the construction of the water plant building, underground tunnel and low-level reservoir building. Gross floor area: approx. 12,000 m². The contract includes, among other things, exceptionally demanding earth and foundation works, watertight basin and concrete structures, process and building engineering, piping and connecting tunnel construction. The new plant complex is built next to the existing surface water plant. In addition, additional works, the need for which becomes apparent during the execution of the works, may be the subject of the procurement. The automation contract related to the project will be procured separately, and the said contract will be subject to the main contract, which is the subject of this application for participation. The works subject to the procurement are scheduled to commence in mid-March 2027, and the plant must be ready for takeover by the end of 2029. The plant must be in use and handed over by 30.6.2030. The language of the procurement and project is Finnish. Excellent proficiency in the Finnish language is required from the persons submitting tenders for the project.
