The Sana Kliniken Oberfranken Coburg GmbH intends to build the new Sana Klinikum Coburg. The project management and the client representation will be handled by the Sana Immobilien Service GmbH for the contracting authority. To support the project management, an external project control is to be commissioned. The project is already included in the annual hospital construction programme of the Free State of Bavaria and is to be financed to a considerable extent from grants (in this case: investment grants under Art. 11 BayKrG individual grants for investments). The project New-build Sana Klinikum Coburg essentially consists of several parts, only the new build of the clinic being an eligible project. The tendered contract comprises only the eligible project, i.e. the new build of the clinic with 550 beds and 38 places in Von-Gruner-Straße in 96450 Coburg. The further objects, which are likely to be created in the immediate vicinity of the clinic, such as a car park, a health centre and an education centre, are not part of the tendered service. The site or construction area on which the clinic is to be built is already defined. The demolition of the existing buildings and the paved areas will be carried out by the landowner. The necessary planning services will be provided largely by the already commissioned general planner, only the planning of the medical engineering will be handled by the Sana's own medical engineering planning.
