The Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS) of Guyane is structured into several groups. Today, these groups are scattered across several sites in the department, which creates functional and logistical constraints that hinder the effectiveness and coordination of the services and groups among themselves. In this context, the SDIS of Guyane wishes to bring together all the entities of the Headquarters on a single site, located in Matoury, with the aim of improving synergy between the different entities, rationalising investment and operating costs of infrastructure, and also offering optimal working conditions for staff.
