Spain – Electricity – Suministro de energía eléctrica para los puntos de consumo en baja y alta tensión del Ayuntamiento de San Javier, mediante precios indexados al mercado OMIE año 2026-2027

The need for the present contract is based on the fact that the supply of electrical energy is necessary for the Municipality of San Javier to fulfill and carry out its institutional purposes in accordance with the competencies established in Law 7/1985, of 2 April, regulating the Bases of the Local Regime. It is therefore necessary to seek offers in the liberalized electricity market subject to free competition, where the consumer can opt for the supplier that makes an offer more appropriate to its interests and consumption structure, with more favorable prices and supply conditions, as established in Law 24/2013, of 26 December, of the Electricity Sector. Therefore, the procurement of the electricity supply must be carried out in the liberalized market through the figure of an electricity supplier. For this reason, the Municipality of San Javier, as a consumer of electrical energy, having 271 low-voltage supply points and 9 medium-voltage supplies, must award through the corresponding procurement procedure the supply of energy for the operation of the various municipal dependencies and facilities as well as to provide the public lighting service. Therefore, this contract responds to the fulfillment of purposes that are proper to the Municipality of San Javier.
