Germany – Time accounting or human resources software package – Einführung eines cloudbasierten Workforce-Management-Systems (Dienstplanung) für die Universitätsmedizin Halle (Saale)

The Universitätsmedizin Halle (Saale) intends to replace the currently used personnel deployment planning system, Polypoint PEP, with a modern, cloud-based Workforce Management System (WFM) for approximately 6,700 employees. With the increasing organisational and digital demands of a university hospital, particularly with regard to continuous workflows, extended absence and replacement management, intelligent scheduling, and comprehensive analysis and control functions, the current solution is increasingly reaching its functional limits. The aim of the procurement is therefore the introduction of a future-proof, integrated WFM system that efficiently, transparently and audibly maps all processes of scheduling, time management and administrative personnel control. This includes, among other things, functions for shift, monthly, daily and workplace planning, holiday and absence planning, personnel requirements planning, qualification management, self-services for employees, digital workflows, time recording, and powerful reporting (e.g. PPR 2.0, PPuGV). Another central component is the complete and compliant mapping of the relevant collective agreements, including complex regulations, allowances, working time models and exceptions. The new solution should be flexibly integrable, optimally meet the specific requirements of a university hospital and completely replace the existing system.
