Romania – Animal feedstuffs – Acord-cadru furnizare „Hrană pentru animale din cadrul Administratia Gradinii Zoologice Și a Platoului Cornești”

The initiation of the procurement procedure aims to conclude framework agreements for a period of 3 years for the supply of feed for the animals within the zoo. The animals require healthy food that is fresh, varied, rich in vital substances, with many vitamins, mineral salts, trace elements, amino acids, different substances of animal origin that can be obtained from the consumption of the prey and that can ensure the daily requirement of nutrients. The execution of the procurement is important to maintain a corresponding state of health of the animals and to ensure them the necessary amount of nutrients for the best possible development of physiological processes and the best possible expression of behaviour. Furthermore, for different exotic animals, a certain percentage of feed specific to the animal's region of origin must be ensured.
