Description

The software solution must support the deal sourcing, deal pipeline management, due diligence and customer relationship management process of KfW. This includes:

Facilitation of identification and analysis of potential investment objects spanning both investments in (VC) funds and direct investments in companies,

Support for the pipeline process, where potential investment objects pass through funnel stages and information is further and further enriched,

Facilitation of portfolio planning with regards to tracking the amount of funds available for investment in different investment mandates and how the portfolio of each mandate would be affected in case an investment is made (pacing),

Support for the due diligence process, the process by which KfW determines if a potential investment is in line with its internal policies and risk appetite and promises an appropriate return,

Support for customer relationship management and identification of existing relationships that could provide an introduction or connection to a potential investment object,

Throughout the solution, the user should be supported with regards to administrative tasks, workflows, collaboration, documentation and information. This includes:

Data fields should be pre-filled with AI suggestions where possible. Users should be able to provide AI with additional, non-public information such as pitch decks to enable the AI to fill in more information,

The solution should enable KfW to depict multiple workflows in the solution such as the dealflow process, the due diligence process and investment decision workflow.
