Finland – Office block construction work – Elenia Verkko Oyj: Toimitilojen rakennusurakka

The subject of the procurement is the construction of Elenia's office premises as a technical KVR contract. The estimated size of the project is approximately 7,000 m2 and it will consist of 3 floors as well as a basement. The total area of the plot is 2.0 ha and the plot is owned by Elenia. The office premises to be built will include approximately 350 open-plan workstations. The plans also include a lobby, meeting rooms, an atrium, a staff canteen, social spaces, and storage spaces. The plot will accommodate approximately 250 parking spaces, a maintenance yard, and green areas. The subject of the procurement will be specified during the procurement process. Electrical safety and occupational safety are important values for Elenia. Elenia is committed to minimising accidents by leading and developing a safety culture in cooperation with its partners. In the upcoming construction contract, the contractor must comply with a safety document that includes higher than usual occupational safety requirements as well as penalties and incentives. The procurement has been republished due to a material error in the estimated value in the previous procurement notice.
