France – Earthmoving work – Opération de Modernisation du Métro Fer (OMF19) - Modernisation L12 - Lot GC05 : Station Marx Dormoy – Elargissement de la trémie d’accès existante – Travaux de génie civil et d’aménagements

The works aim to control the impact of the new rolling stock (MF19) on safety provisions by improving evacuation conditions to reach the regulatory threshold of 10min. The works consist of demolishing the current exit DB202 (EF & EM) and rebuilding a wider exit with the creation of a mechanical staircase on the Rue de la Chapelle side and a wider fixed staircase. The site will be worked on during the day except for some tasks related to the installation of site footprints. The installation of GBA for the immobilization of a lane on Rue de la Chapelle will be carried out at night. Throughout the period of demolition and reconstruction of exit 202, Marx Dormoy station will be closed. However, the operation of line 12 will be maintained during the works and the trains will not stop at Marx Dormoy station. For the implementation of the project works, RATP will make available premises of an area of 165m² located at 28 rue de la Chapelle in Paris. These premises will serve as a base camp.
