The City of Vantaa, Property Management, requests a tender for the basic renovation and expansion of the swimming hall in Myyrmäki Sports Hall, as specified in the tender documents and their appendices. Design tasks:

• principal design

• architectural design

• structural design (incl. building physics design)

• HVAC design

• water management design

The procurement is divided into a project design phase and a continuation design phase. The design tasks of the continuation design phase are included in the procurement as an option. The continuation design phase includes all design phases from design preparation to warranty period. The scope, content and schedule of the design tasks of the project are presented in the tender documents attached. The language of the design tasks is Finnish.

The swimming hall of the Myyrmäki Sports Hall, completed in 1974, will be renovated to maintain the building's functionality and expanded to meet the increased population of the Myyrmäki large district. The renovation and expansion of the Myyrmäki Sports Hall swimming hall include the following components:

- renovation of the changing room and pool areas (approx. 2 200 brm2) and pool technical areas and ventilation machine room (approx. 936 brm2) of the sports hall swimming hall

- expansion of the swimming hall's pool areas (approx. 1 000 hum2) and pool technical areas (approx. 850 hum2)

- new civil defence shelter (approx. 105 hum2 gross floor area, 90 hum2 net floor area) for 120 people and staircase to shelter (approx. 15 hum2) for Vaskivuori School and Daycare

- smaller space changes in the sports hall, such as new storage space (100 hum2) for the ball game hall, conversion of the fitness instructor's elevator lobby to a storage space, fitness instructor's studio space and new maintenance road for the ball game hall

The floor area of the approximately 5 793 m2 sports building will be increased by approximately 1 278 m2 to approximately 7 500 m2 by an amendment to the zoning plan to enable the new expansion. The current building right of the Y plot is already exceeded by 793 m2. The swimming hall will be expanded to the west on the current courtyard area of the plot and over the maintenance road of the ball game hall. As a result of the expansion, the sewer and drainage pipes and telecommunications and power cables running through the western courtyard area of the plot will be preliminarily relocated to run along the western boundary of the plot.
