Description

The National Museum of Finland ("Procurement Unit") is procuring an AV integration system for the National Museum's opening exhibition. The subject of the procurement is the AV integration for the National Museum's opening exhibition. In addition to the AV system, the procurement includes the delivery, installation, programming, connections, commissioning, testing, documentation, user guidance, warranties, and other works related to delivery and installation as defined in the invitation to tender and its appendices. The AV system includes, among other things, solutions for media playback, image, sound, control, interaction, signal transmission, exhibition network and device management for exhibition objects, as well as the devices, software, licenses, cabling, fittings, installation materials and other parts required to implement a functional system. The procurement also includes technical implementation, installation, connection, control, programming, commissioning and testing tasks related to exhibition lighting, light artworks and AV-controlled special lighting systems as defined in the tender documents. The subject of the procurement is described in more detail later in this invitation to tender and its appendices. The schedule should take into account that the installation and commissioning of the AV system will be carried out during the construction of the new building, the construction of the exhibition and other parallel implementations. For this reason, the Procurement Unit reserves the right to make changes to the deadlines presented in the invitation to tender. The estimated schedule for the implementation can be found in the document AV Integration Implementation Schedule. The Procurement Unit emphasizes that the completion of the implementation as early as possible is desirable, as the construction of the exhibition will begin in the space. The earlier the installation is completed, the more workspace and flexibility there will be for the implementation. The Procurement Unit offers bidders the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the site on 5-6.8.2026 at a separately agreed time. The site visit should be agreed in advance by email to [email protected]. The exact time and practical arrangements for the site visit will be agreed separately with the registered bidders. Some of the appendix material in the invitation to tender is confidential. The documents are available upon request by email to [email protected]. These materials include, among other things, the file 260617_NMF_AV Media Briefs, which contains a summary of the opening exhibition and Museum Studio material in English, as well as the exhibition's more detailed design documentation. The bidder must, as part of the request, assure that it will keep the confidential information received from the Procurement Unit only to itself and use the information only for the purpose required by this procurement procedure. The obligations regarding confidentiality continue even after the procurement procedure.
