Netherlands – Cemetery maintenance services – Onkruidbeheersing verhardingen begraafplaatsen

The contracting authority intends to award a contract to one contractor, effective from 1 January 2027, for the maintenance of weed control on hard surfaces in cemeteries. The aim is to achieve a professional, reliable and high-quality execution of the works, ensuring that the cemeteries maintain a well-kept, safe and dignified appearance. The works must be carried out structurally, efficiently and in accordance with the specified quality levels, with a view to sustainability and minimal disruption to visitors. This contract aims to guarantee continuity in the execution and to establish a collaboration with a party capable of proactively contributing to quality improvement and optimal service delivery throughout the contract period. See tender documents. The contract relates to the execution of 8 maintenance rounds per year for weed control on hard surfaces in cemeteries within the municipality of Zaanstad. The scope of the works is based on the current situation and the expected maintenance level. However, this year will see the start of the conversion of part of the paths to asphalt.
