Vitens is procuring Security Operations Center (SOC) services for the 24/7 monitoring, detection, analysis, and escalation of cybersecurity threats within a hybrid IT/OT architecture. The scope includes, inter alia, log analysis, use-case development, threat intelligence integration, incident detection, triage, and support for incident response, based on data from on-premise, cloud (including Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS) and OT environments (SCADA/PLC). The service is delivered in a hybrid model where Vitens remains responsible for incident response and the supplier for detection, analysis, and advice. The contract starts with an 'as-is' transition and evolves into a continuous optimization of detection capabilities and security monitoring, aimed at reducing false positives and improving threat detection. The SOC service provider operates as an integral partner and contributes to the continuous improvement of security maturity within a complex, mission-critical infrastructure.
