Germany – Engineering design services for mechanical and electrical installations for buildings – Totalunternehmer Controlling ELT in der Form von Fachplanungsleistungen Technische Ausrüstung (Elektroplanung - ELT) zur Qualitätssicherung für die Generalsanierung des Kulturzentrums Gasteig

The Gasteig is the large, centrally located cultural and educational centre of Munich. With its approximately 1.8 million visitors and more than 1,800 events per year, it is the largest cultural centre in Germany. The building, with its consistent brick surfaces in the interior and exterior, was constructed from 1976 according to the plans of the architectural consortium Raue Rollenhagen Lindemann Grossmann and opened in 1984/85. After more than 30 years of intensive use, the general renovation of the building is due. The focus is on adapting the existing functional linkages in view of future requirements, greater flexibility in use, the conception of a state-of-the-art building, communications, media and safety technology and topics such as sustainability and inclusion. These, as well as the event halls, are to be further expanded in the future. The existing, complex usage contexts and offers are to be linked more closely in terms of content and possible synergies are to be better utilised. This results in new functional requirements for the building, which also make an increase in area by approximately 10,000 m² of gross floor area necessary.

The services tendered here relate to monitoring, coordination, testing, control and value engineering activities during the planning and execution phase in connection with the planning and construction services to be provided by the general contractor – see also the scope of services „TU Controlling ELT“ (T2-01-03). The subject of the tender are therefore specialist planning services for technical equipment (electrical planning - ELT) within the framework of quality assurance with regard to the planning and construction services to be provided by the general contractor.
