Germany – Contractor's all-risk insurance services – Projektversicherung für das Projekt EStW Gießen 2. BS

DB InfraGO AG plans to renew the EStW Gießen. The investment sum for this project is estimated at EUR 236 million. Of this, approximately EUR 25 million has already been settled through an existing contract. The newly tendered insurance contract will replace the existing contract. A currently planned construction period until 31.10.2029 is anticipated. The insurance contract will commence after the completion of the tendering procedure with the date of the award following a currently existing preliminary cover. (Type M) In the liability insurance, the cover amount per claim is EUR 25,000,000 in total for personal, property, and financial losses, including the benefits from the environmental liability insurance. In the professional indemnity insurance, a separate cover amount of EUR 10,000,000 per claim is available in total for property and financial losses. The aforementioned amounts are tripled. The Extendend Maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance part amounts to 42 months. The subsequent liability in the liability insurance is 10 years, in the environmental liability and environmental damage insurance 5 years. The general deductible amounts to at least EUR 25,000. The deductible does not apply for personal injuries. In the case of an extended planning cover, the deductible amounts to EUR 100,000.
