Germany – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – Sanierung/Umbau im Bestand sowie Erweiterung der Sophie Dorothea Schule in Ahlden

The Samtgemeinde Ahlden plans to renovate and expand the Sophie Dorothea School in Ahlden. According to a 2023 report, the primary school has technical and functional deficiencies. The building does not meet current fire safety and energy standards. Additionally, there is currently no possibility for full-day care. As part of the measure, the new, already coordinated space programme is to be implemented in the existing building and with an extension/addition. There is the possibility of demolishing parts of the existing building and redesigning the area. A hazardous substance report is not yet available but will be commissioned shortly. The total project costs are currently estimated at approximately 7.0 million EUR net.
