The subject of the contract is the performance of maintenance works consisting of the mechanical cutting of raised roadside verges along the county roads no. 811, 812 and 816 within the administrative boundaries of the Biała Podlaska Road District, including the profiling of the roadside, the removal of material resulting from the cutting, and the tidying of the roadside. The purpose of the contract is to: • restore the correct cross-fall of the roadside, • ensure effective drainage of surface water from the carriageway, • remove the raised roadside relative to the edge of the carriageway, • improve the technical and aesthetic condition of the roadside, • reduce water stagnation at the edge of the carriageway, • improve road traffic safety conditions. The scope of the contract includes, in particular: • marking and securing the work area, • preparing the roadside for cutting, • mechanical cutting of the raised roadside, • profiling the surface of the roadside, • giving the roadside the correct cross-fall, • collecting the material obtained from the cutting, • loading the material onto transport vehicles, • transporting and disposing of the material from the cutting of the roadside in accordance with applicable regulations is the responsibility of the Contractor, cleaning the edge of the carriageway, • cleaning the carriageway surface of material deposited during the cutting, • tidying the roadside, • carrying out all other activities necessary for the proper execution and acceptance of the works. Detailed requirements regarding the method of service provision, required quality, equipment, control, acceptance, infrastructure protection and safety of work are specified in the Detailed Technical Specification (SST) which is Annex K to the Contract Terms and Conditions.
