This contract concerns the conclusion of a framework agreement with a single contractor for the supply, renewal, extension and assistance of IBM webMethods licences, subscriptions, maintenance and support rights, as well as for the provision of directly related expertise services for the existing IBM webMethods environment of the contracting authority. The basic need consists in the extension of maintenance and support for existing perpetual IBM webMethods licences. During the framework agreement period, the contracting authority may, according to its actual needs, order, among others, the following products, rights and services: • additional IBM webMethods licences and subscriptions; • additional or fixed-term maintenance and support rights; • extended support; • IBM Expert Labs or other recognised expertise services supported by IBM; • support for lifecycle management, capacity extension, containerisation and controlled modernisation; • a predefined 'hypercare' service and temporary 24/7 assistance. LCM wishes to retain the existing core-based licence model and ensure continuity, support, lifecycle tracking and controlled evolution of the existing IBM webMethods integration environment. During the framework agreement period, LCM may, within the limits of the existing IBM webMethods technology stack, evolve towards container technology. The framework agreement therefore does not aim to choose a new B2B integration platform, but to preserve, support and controlled modernisation of the existing IBM webMethods B2B integration environment. The framework agreement covers exclusively the products, usage rights, maintenance and support rights as well as the necessary and directly related services to the preservation, management, support and controlled evolution of the existing IBM webMethods B2B integration environment of the contracting authority. The contract does not concern the acquisition of a new integration platform or the replacement of the existing IBM webMethods platform. It aims to guarantee the continuity, compatibility, support, security and lifecycle tracking of the existing environment. Within the framework agreement, the following services may, among others, be ordered: • the renewal of existing maintenance and support rights; • additional IBM webMethods licences and subscriptions; • the extension or adaptation of existing usage rights; • the alignment of maintenance, support or subscription periods; • extended support; • IBM Expert Labs or equivalent recognised expertise services; • support for lifecycle management, upgrades, migrations, capacity extension, containerisation and controlled modernisation of the existing environment; • a previously defined 'hypercare' service and temporary 24/7 assistance.
