The subject of the public procurement „Service maintenance of general medical equipment in UMBAL „Sveta Marina“ EAD for a period of 2 years“ is a service within the meaning of Article 3, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) with an estimated value of 76,693.78 euros (seventy-six thousand six hundred ninety-three euros and seventy-eight cents) excluding VAT.

The minimum number of service hours (including preventive maintenance hours) for separate items, for which the Contracting Authority has provided for payment for out-of-warranty service maintenance if necessary, are described in Column No. 12 of the General Technical Specification. The maximum allowable value for each separate item (maximum allowable price for service maintenance if necessary), provided by the Contracting Authority, is described in Column No. 9 of the General Technical Specification, with which the Contracting Authority is limited, but not obligated to exhaust it. The delivery of spare parts is not the subject of the present public procurement and their value is not included in the indicated estimated value. According to Article 21, Paragraph 6 of the PPA, the Contracting Authority has the right to award separate items in the order valid for the individual value of each of them, provided that the value of the respective separate item does not exceed 79,998.77 euros for deliveries and services and the total estimated value of the separate items awarded in this way does not exceed 20 percent of the total value of the procurement. In these cases, regardless of the remaining value of the procurement, it is awarded in the order applicable to the total estimated value of the entire procurement. Taking into account the above, the estimated value of the separate items with numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, which the Contracting Authority intends to award under the procedure of Article 74 of the PPA, is 63,720.00 euros excluding VAT, which represents 83.08% of the total value of the procurement. The estimated value of the separate items with numbers 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 is 12,973.78,00 euros excluding VAT, which represents 16.22% of the total value of the procurement and the value of each separate item falls within the scope of Article 20, Paragraph 4, Item 3 of the PPA. In view of the above and pursuant to Article 21, Paragraph 6 of the PPA, separate items with numbers 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 will be awarded in the order of Article 20, Paragraph 4, Item 3 of the PPA, namely through direct award. In accordance with Article 21, Paragraph 6 of the PPA, the remaining value (which is the estimated value for separate items with numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 in view of its size and the total value of the procurement) is awarded by conducting the present open procedure in accordance with Article 74 of the PPA.
