The NaturGut Ophoven is an environmental education centre in Leverkusen-Opladen, offering numerous educational programmes on the topics of nature, energy, climate and environmental protection, and serving as a place of recreation and learning for the population of Leverkusen. The environmental centre, located on a listed estate, Gut Ophoven, in the middle of a 60,000 square meter nature experience park, consists of several building parts. On the property at Talstr. 4, 51379 Leverkusen, there are a total of six buildings: Burg, Administration, Exhibition, Barn, Greenhouse and a bicycle carport from various years of construction. NaturGut was severely damaged by the flood in 2021. Due to the high degree of destruction of the technology, a complete redesign of the site was created. The outdated technology and the spatial requirements were brought up to the current standard in terms of planning, and a new fire protection assessment was carried out. The present tender includes steel construction work.
