Germany – Engineering design services for the construction of civil engineering works – Fernwärmetrasse vom IKW Rüdersdorf nach Hönow/ Strausberg

IKWR GmbH, (Danpower Group) plans to construct a new district heating transport pipeline to integrate the waste heat from IKW Rüdersdorf into the district heating networks of Hönow and Strausberg. The aim is to create a high-performance heat transport connection including the necessary network integrations and defined interfaces. The core component is the main route IKW Rüdersdorf → Hönow with a length of approx. 16–17 km and a nominal width of approx. DN 400. Additionally, a branch in the direction of Strausberg is planned (starting from the junction approx. 5 km, nominal width approx. DN 250). The concrete interface / integration into the network Strausberg is still being clarified at the time of publication and will be specified during the project. In Hönow, in addition to the pipeline connection, the network integration including necessary renovation measures in the area of the existing district heating network is to be planned as part of the project. Numerous boundary conditions and constraints must be taken into account along the route. Several special crossings have already been identified, including water crossings, track/rail crossings and motorway crossings. This results in increased requirements for coordination, evidence, approval processes and construction methods. For the project, planning services are required over several planning stages, which in their structure are based on the phases of the HOAI (in particular preliminary and design planning up to execution and tender planning as well as construction supervision and local construction supervision). From a technical point of view, continuous interface coordination between route, special crossings and network integrations must be ensured. The concrete scope of the services to be commissioned will be specified in the further tender documents.
