Gasgrid Finland Oy is a state-owned company that operates as the system operator for the natural gas transmission network in Finland. The company provides safe, reliable, and cost-effective gas transmission and actively and customer-orientedly develops the transmission infrastructure, service offering, and gas markets to promote the future carbon-neutral energy system. Gasgrid Vetyverkot Oy is a subsidiary of Gasgrid Finland Oy, established in 2022, whose task is to promote Gasgrid's role as a developer of the hydrogen economy. The aforementioned entities are referred to jointly below as ("Contracting Entity" or "Gasgrid"). The subject of this procurement is the geotechnical investigations produced for Gasgrid ("Services"). In this procurement, the Contracting Entity is seeking five (5) framework agreement suppliers to respond to the production of geotechnical investigations, including: - along pipeline routes - in various underground crossings (railways, motorways, roads, etc.) - in various waterway crossings (lakes, rivers, river mouths, etc.), including offshore-type investigations of rivers - in various locations (valve stations, compressor stations, pressure reduction and measurement stations, etc.) - Soil sampling and analysis services - Analysis and documentation of results The scope of the Service is described in more detail in the procurement documents and is specified as the procurement process progresses. The framework agreements are scheduled to enter into force in ~Q4/2026, and the planned duration of the agreements is 3+2+2 years. The Contracting Entity reserves the right to carry out a mini-tendering process for the first assignment simultaneously with the framework agreement procurement process. The agreement does not include a purchase obligation and does not grant the selected suppliers exclusive rights to the geotechnical investigations according to the Contracting Entity's procurement description. The Public Procurement Act for Special Trades, i.e. the Act on Procurements and Usage Rights Agreements of Units Operating in the Water and Energy Supply, Transport and Postal Services Sector (1398/2016), applies to this procurement.
