Initial situation and project description

The NGT, based in Kassel, is a certified transmission system operator under the Energy Industry Act. The Gas Network Development Plan (abbreviated: NEP Gas 2022-2032) includes a measure for maintaining supply security with the construction of the compressor station (abbreviated: VS) Wittenburg, which is to be implemented by the joint venture (abbreviated: BTG) North European Gas Pipeline (abbreviated: NEL). The BTG NEL has commissioned NGT with the planning and implementation of the construction of the VS Wittenburg. GASCADE Gastransport GmbH (hereinafter: GASCADE) plans and builds the VS Wittenburg on behalf of and for NGT. As part of this, the new compressor station in Wittenburg with three compressors and their entire periphery, consisting of, among other things, filters, coolers, operating buildings, measuring and electrical engineering, pipelines and fittings, will be erected.

Project description

The commissioning of the VS Wittenburg is scheduled for 2028. At the start of the construction phase, NGT requires a technically and professionally qualified company to supply technically complete and operationally ready cable materials for the construction of the power supply line. A reliable power supply is essential to ensure timely, safe and uninterrupted gas transport to maintain supply security.

Subject of the tender

The subject of the contract is the delivery of technically complete and operationally ready materials by the contractor. The delivery must be made in accordance with the technical specifications of the contracting authority and the services specified by the contractor in the price list (see Annex B.1). The contractor is obliged to fully comply with and ensure the quality of the materials and components specified there. NGT has commissioned WEMAG Projektentwicklung GmbH as general planner for the construction of a power supply line from the substation (UW) Wölzow to the VS Wittenburg. The cable material required for this is the subject of this tender.
