The contract covers the maintenance and overhaul of the gearbox, system change of the Wiesel 2. Bidders must consider that the details of the individual lots are derived from past values and include any additional requirements (safety margin) that may arise. The actual orders placed during the contract period may deviate from the quantities required for the respective supply numbers contained in a lot. In any case, the upper limit for each order is the total quantity (estimated requirement + safety margin) summarised in the relevant lot. This contract does not oblige the contracting authority to place individual orders. The contract period begins with the award of the contract and ends after 4 years. If the existing contract between the HIL GmbH and the Bundeswehr ends for any legal reason, the framework agreement can be terminated by a special termination right.
