degewo AG, with 82,000 managed and third-party managed apartments, is one of the largest municipal housing companies in Germany, based in Berlin. The real estate portfolio is located in all districts of Berlin and is constantly growing through investment measures. netzWerk, as a 100% subsidiary of degewo, operates in the field of energy supply and technical building infrastructure as a group-affiliated service company. netzWerk is responsible for, among other things, the efficient, climate-friendly, and intelligent supply of the group's building stock with heat and power. The subject matter is a combined construction performance and liability insurance (BauRisk insurance) with the contract sections construction performance, operational liability (including employer's, environmental liability, and environmental damage) and professional liability insurance for all construction and assembly projects (power/heat generation systems and power/heat supply systems including photovoltaic systems, as well as cable and fibre optic networks) of the insured with a total construction sum of over 200,000 € up to 25,000,000 € and a planning start from 2027 including the associated civil engineering measures with a respective preliminary total construction sum of over 200,000 € and up to 25,000,000 € within the Federal Republic of Germany, which are commissioned by the insured or the insured companies (according to Section 2a) and started during the contract period. All companies involved in the construction in the fields of execution and planning are to be insured within the framework of this combined construction performance, assembly and liability insurance and therefore no longer need to maintain their own insurance. The insurance location for each construction project is the entire construction site area incl. storage facilities used for the project or connecting routes between the aforementioned locations within the Federal Republic of Germany. As a result of the tendering procedure, an insurer consortium can be formed according to the tender documents made the subject of this procedure. A subscription quota of at least 40% is required for a leading offer, and a subscription quota of at least 20% for a participation offer. With the submission of the offer, the bidders declare their general willingness to cooperate with the members of the insurer consortium selected by the contracting authority.
