The subject of the project is the creation of the infrastructure and the supply of the necessary software, equipment and services, with the main objective of creating an Information System (IS) for Services that develop Operational Responsibilities in the field of Border Management. It will function as a modern, common tool for law enforcement agencies across the country, with which a unified strategic and operational approach to law enforcement practice will be achieved. This will ensure the internal security of the country through the protection and effective management of external borders. The IS, which incorporates functions of Common Operational Picture and Decision Support, will upgrade the operation of all Operations Centres that manage and coordinate incidents of police interest related to the protection of the country's borders. The upgraded Operations Centres will interoperate in an IS that will include automated digital tools and means, supporting the timely decision-making by the Incident Management Authorities at all levels of Management (Tactical – Operational – Strategic) in the phases of the Incident and Crisis Management Cycle.
