The Municipality of Kempele is constructing a new high school in accordance with this procurement notice and its annexes. The project also includes the demolition of the existing high school, to the extent specified in the tender documents. This procurement notice invites applications to participate in the negotiation phase of the procurement. The contract type is a KVR contract, where the contractor is responsible for the project's design, permit acquisition, and construction. First, a separate agreement is drawn up with the contractor for a development phase, during which the project's objectives and plans are jointly refined (see the detailed planning program). After the development phase, a final contract is drawn up with the contractor. The contract is executed as a target-cost contract. The project size is approximately 5,000 m2. According to the preliminary schedule, the development phase begins in the autumn of 2026, construction in the spring of 2027, and the new building is completed in the summer of 2028.
