Germany – Engineering-design services for traffic installations – Universitäts- und Hansestadt Greifswald, Umgestaltung Marienstraße

"Planning of transport infrastructure, engineering structures and technical equipment" The University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald intends to transform Marienstraße as part of the urban development programme "Renovation of the Inner City and Fleischervorstadt". The aim of the transformation is to enhance this urban area and ensure the accessibility of existing residential and commercial uses, taking into account the various demands of pedestrians, cyclists, moving and stationary traffic, the fire department and (future) public transport. The project includes the comprehensive renewal of the carriageway, pavements, street drainage, street lighting and some supply and disposal lines.
