The Stadtwerke Saarbrücken Netz AG (SWN) in Saarbrücken intends to build a new overhead substation with voltage levels up to 110 kV on the property, located in Saarbrücken, district 10, plot 19/24. The property is situated at the corner of Malstatter Straße / Gersweilerstraße. With the planned substation "Busbetriebshof", Stadtwerke Saarbrücken Netz AG will replace the existing substation Werderstraße. The facilities installed there are no longer permanently maintainable due to their advanced age and lack of spare parts. The aim of the replacement new build is to ensure continuous and efficient power transmission that meets current and future grid requirements.
