Aerial imagery, the collection of 3D points from the territory, and the automatic processing of these images into various inventories form a rapidly developing technology with broad application possibilities in various policy areas and their processes. The Province of Antwerp, with this public contract (Lot 1), wishes to gain access to recent (maximum 2 years old) and historical orthophotos, oblique aerial images, and 3D point clouds; and (Lot 2) to call upon various inventories based on the sources in Lot 1. These are important tools to consult and assess situations in public spaces and on private plots from the office. For the Department of Space, Heritage and Mobility of the Province of Antwerp, these images and inventories are an important aid in the execution of their tasks: - assessment of environmental permit applications; - spatial planning processes; - mobility.
