Germany – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – Sanierung/Umbau im Bestand sowie Erweiterung der Grundschule Hodenhagen

The municipality of Ahlden intends to renovate and expand the 2-track primary school in Hodenhagen, originally built in 1888. According to a 2023 report, there are technical and functional deficiencies. The building does not meet current fire safety and energy standards. Additionally, there is currently no provision for full-day care. As part of the measure, the new, already coordinated space program is to be implemented in the existing building and with an extension/annex. There is the possibility of demolishing parts of the existing building (building part from 1885, building part from 1929) and redesigning the area. A hazardous materials report is not yet available but will be commissioned shortly. The total project costs are currently estimated at approximately 7.0 million EUR net.
