Germany – Road construction works – Kreuzungsfreier Ausbau Frankenschnellweg, Abschnitt West: Bauleistungen, Straßen- & Ingenieurbau

The contract involves the extension of the Frankenschnellweg from the junction of Nürnberg/Fürth to the junction of Nürnberg-Westring (Jansenbrücke) over a length of approx. 2 km. The contract comprises road and civil engineering works and is divided into three lots: Lot 1, Road Construction: Complete renewal of the road pavement (full reconstruction) and road drainage. Lot 2, Civil Engineering: Construction of up to 8.0 m high, curved noise barriers on both sides of the Frankenschnellweg with a length of approx. 1.1 km per direction of travel, construction of straight noise barriers on the Jansenbrücke, upgrading of the southern exit ramp of the Jansenbrücke, construction of two traffic sign bridges. Lot 3, Replacement New Construction Bridge over Sigmundstraße: Renewal of the bridge structure over the Sigmundstraße (Sigmundbrücke) as an integral steel composite structure.
