Along the Elbe in Magdeburg-Cracau, the right-hand embankment is to be repaired over a length of approximately 1.025 m. The embankment upgrade includes raising the embankment and constructing a continuous inspection path. To this end, a sheet pile wall will be installed along the entire length into the embankment body, with the embankment body being excavated to make room for the inspection path. Before the start of the embankment upgrade, among other things, construction-preparatory and construction-accompanying ordnance clearance must be carried out.
