Description

The contractor must, as part of the order, plan, deliver and commission fully functional, easy-to-install and maintain heat storage units that meet all requirements and are state-of-the-art. The heat storage vessels shall have a storage capacity of 100 MWhth or 1500 m³ of district heating water. The district heating water quality corresponds to AGFW FW 510 low-salt operation. The district heating water is stored at a temperature of up to 130 °C and a pressure of 21 bar(g). The heat storage vessels shall operate on the principle of a stratified storage unit and must be designed accordingly. Temperature stratification must be ensured. A total of 2 to 4 heat storage vessels can be installed to achieve a total usable volume of 1500 m³. Expansion tanks In addition to the heat storage units, two expansion tanks are to be supplied. The first expansion tank shall have a usable volume of 270 m³, a design pressure of 0.49 bar(g) and a design temperature of 150 °C. The second expansion tank shall have a usable volume of 104 m³, a design pressure of 0.49 bar(g) and a design temperature of 120 °C. All tanks must be allocated on an area of 8 x 26 m and a height of 30.7 m must not be exceeded. The scope of delivery essentially includes the following components:

- 2 to 4 heat storage vessels for a total of 1500 m³ of district heating water with

- Connection for filling and emptying DN300

- Stratified charging system

- Sensor and actuator technology

- Safety devices

- Expansion tank Aachen with 270 m³ usable volume

- Cushion steam plant

- Heat retention with district heating water

- Electrical heating

- Expansion tank Inden with 104 m³ usable volume

- Cushion steam plant

- Heat retention with district heating water

- Electrical heating

- Steel structure for the installation of the tanks

- Transition from the engine house to the roof of the heat storage units

- Access aids and work platforms for maintenance work

- Connecting pipelines of the heat storage vessels
