The contracting authority intends to construct the 2nd construction phase of a district cooling plant in an existing building at the HKW Süd site to supply a district cooling network. The subject of this procurement are cooling towers, which ensure the heat rejection of waste heat from compression and absorption chillers. The execution of the cooling towers is to be carried out as hybrid cooling towers. The cooling towers are to be designed so that they can be positioned on a specified roof area. The total heat rejection capacity is 25 MW. The cooling water must be cooled from 37°C to 27°C. Part of the supply and service scope is the associated sludge removal automation, water conditioning with biocide dosing, the installation of the cooling towers by crane (incl. crane positioning), the cabling of the cooling towers with the control cabinets (incl. control cabinet and cable tray construction) and the execution of a suitable cooling tower substructure.
