Terranets bw is planning the "Spessart-Odenwald-Leitung (SPO)". The planned natural gas transport pipeline, with a total length of approximately 117 kilometres (DN 1,000, DP 90 bar), runs through the federal state of Hessen and the Free State of Bayern. The route largely follows the course of the existing Mitte-Deutschland-Anbindungs-Leitung (MIDAL). In the federal state of Hessen and the Free State of Bayern, the SPO runs from north to south through the districts of Main-Kinzig, Aschaffenburg, Offenbach, Darmstadt-Dieburg and Bergstraße.
