The Real Estate Management of the Science City of Darmstadt (IDA) plans a comprehensive renovation, modernisation, and expansion measure for the Käthe-Kollwitz School in the Darmstadt Waldkolonie. The aim of the project is to establish the primary school in a sustainable and future-proof manner, to meet the increasing demand for school places in the district, and to meet the pedagogical and spatial requirements of full-day operations - particularly with regard to the legal entitlement to full-day care in primary school age, which will apply from 2026.
