Section 130a, paragraph 8, of the German Social Code (SGB V) allows health insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies to conclude framework rebate contracts for medicines to be dispensed at the expense of the statutory health insurance. With regard to the relevant legal provisions for the award of public contracts, the DAK-Gesundheit conducts a regular process of substance-related, formal tendering procedures according to the regulations of Part 4 of the German Act Against Restraints of Competition (GWB). For the pharmaceuticals to be specified by the bidder in Annex 2 to the contract, for the aforementioned active substance Perindopril arginine + Amlodipine + Indapamide, ATC C09BX01, the DAK-Gesundheit intends to conclude pharmaceutical rebate contracts with as many interested pharmaceutical companies as possible until new pharmaceutical rebate contracts come into force. A rebate contract under the licensing model for the aforementioned active substance comes into force for the first time on 01.09.2026 and expires on 31.08.2028 (plus extension option 1x12 months). It ends automatically with the entry into force of the exclusive contract, regardless.
