The municipality of Leutkirch im Allgäu plans the new construction of a waterworks facility consisting of administration, workshops and a vehicle hall. The current waterworks is located on the site of the municipal works yard at Brühlstraße. Since the construction of a new fire station is planned at the current site and the municipal works yard is therefore to be newly constructed elsewhere (south of the sewage treatment plant), a new site for the waterworks must also be found. A site investigation was carried out for this purpose. The site at Tautenhofer Straße, northeast of the existing pumping station at Rauns, was chosen by the municipal council, as the infrastructure (power, water) is already in place. The traffic connectivity/accessibility and operational synergies at this site are also high. According to the feedback from the LRA regarding the building application, the distance to the old protection zone II of the well must be maintained, so the new building must be set back accordingly. The site at Rauns also offers the possibility, due to its central location in the supply network and the existing replacement supply well Rauns, to develop a blackout concept or a grid-connected emergency supply for almost the entire municipal area from this site. The city of Leutkirch has already developed a spatial concept and a design, which will be further developed by the city until including LPH 4. A two-storey administrative building with social facilities, workshops and storage is planned. In addition, a cold storage for pipes and a vehicle hall/garage are planned. The vehicles essential for operation or which must be kept frost-free due to their readiness for deployment (e.g. tank trailers) are to be located in the through hall (trailer operation, shunting, loading). The remaining vehicles can be parked covered in the operations yard area. The GFA (R) is approximately 1,900 m², the GFA (S) approximately 335 m² for canopies. For the services of structural design according to §§ 49, 51 HOAI LPH 1-6 incl. site supervision, a suitable engineering office with experience in timber or timber hybrid construction is sought. The contract will be awarded in stages. In the first stage, performance phases 1-3 will be commissioned. There is no legal entitlement to the further commissioning of the respective subsequent performance stage. Further information can be found in 5.1. of the notice and the attached brief information.
