Germany – Railway passenger coaches – Anmietung von 7-8 batterieelektrischen Triebzügen Mireo Smart (Sauerlandnetz)

DB Regio intends to participate in the Sauerlandnetz tender. The service start is scheduled for the timetable change in December 2028. The lease would run for 6 years, from 12/2028 to 12/2034, with two extension options of 1 year each. The offer must be submitted to the contracting authority by 03.09.2026. For this service, DB Regio wishes to lease 7 to 8 battery-electric multiple units. The place of performance is not exclusively the aforementioned location "Dortmund". The location was selected because there was no other or further option available and the selected location is the seat of the contracting authority with the predominant share of the service to be provided. The place of performance of the service provision is the region of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) covered by the SPNV services to be awarded.
