Netherlands – Trailers, semi-trailers and mobile containers – DAS Getrokken materieel

The Contract involves the purchase, installation, maintenance and repair of towed equipment. Both new and used (second-hand). The Police use trailers, for example, for transporting boats and materials. The Police also use semi-trailers behind trucks, for transporting materials. The Police also use mobile accommodations, as a meeting room, or for use at crime scenes. The towed equipment is used for both the Police's own transport needs and operationally. There is a need for both chassis towed equipment, as well as towed equipment that is fitted with installations, including optical and sound signalling. Due to the diversity of the need, it is not possible to provide a complete overview of this need in advance. It is precisely because of this diversity in the need that the Police have decided to set up a DAS. The Police aim to use this to approach a broad market in a low-threshold manner.
