Netherlands – Highway maintenance work – Gebiedscontract Gooi- en Vechtstreek 2026-2029

The current maintenance contract for area 7 (Gooi- and Vechtstreek) expires on 2 May 2027 and cannot be extended. Therefore, a tender for a new maintenance contract for the Gooi- and Vechtstreek 2026-2029 is necessary, with the scope covering daily management and fixed maintenance. Variable maintenance, including programming, may also be included in the new maintenance contract. The province of Noord-Holland largely carries out the fixed and variable maintenance of its infrastructure through integral area contracts. This contract form has contributed to efficient and coherent execution of maintenance activities within defined management areas in recent years. At the same time, the province notes that maintenance of the area increasingly requires specialist knowledge, risk-based custom work, and targeted use of market knowledge and innovative capacity.
