VMM will place several contracts for the further development of the groundwater module of NEMO. NEMO, the Nutrient Emission Model, calculates the loads of nitrogen and phosphorus from agriculture to surface water for Flanders. The framework contract falls within a phased trajectory for the further development of the groundwater module of the NEMO model, supported by PIO. The contract includes the investigation, development, and comparison of different concepts for the groundwater module of NEMO. Subsequently, implementation of a preferred concept in NEMO, including model couplings and integration into existing model structures, and application for all of Flanders.
