Germany – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – BLB NRW DU / Duisburg / UDE Campus DU / Ersatzflächen Fakultät Physik / Projektsteuerung und Qualitätssicherung unter Anwendung der BIM-Methode für ein SEP-Verfahren (020-26-00052)

The BLB NRW plans to renovate the existing LE building and construct a replacement new building for the Faculty of Experimental and Theoretical Physics with the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE). Currently, the Physics Faculty of the UDE is housed at the Mülheimer-/Lotharstraße site (M-Area). The buildings and technical infrastructure are outdated and inadequate. The current space is sufficient. Therefore, a 1:1 replacement of the space is aimed for. It is intended to accommodate the teaching/seminar and office uses for experimental and theoretical physics in the existing LE building and the laboratory use of experimental physics in an adjacent replacement new building. For this purpose, the LE building will be emptied and gutted, and the surrounding underground infrastructure will be disentangled and demolished. To clear the site for the new building, the demolition of building LH and the relocation of the data node currently housed in building LE, as well as the clearance/demolition of the associated supply tunnel in the northeastern part of the site, are required. The replacement space for Physics is to be created with the SEP contract model (turnkey construction with integrated planning) including commissioning as a collaborative partnership. To this end, the award of all planning and construction services is to be made in a single contract to a general contractor (TU). To support the BLB in an advisory (staff) function, project management services for all 5 areas of action in all 5 project stages according to AHO are to be externally procured. An external quality control is to verify the results of the project planning, the specialist planning for the technical equipment, and all construction services with regard to the planning and project specifications, contents and interfaces. The aim is to ensure collision-free and defect-free, compliant planning, execution and acceptance of the construction measure as a basis for sustainable, smooth operation.
