The project VDE 8.1 Freight Line (Nuremberg Kleinreuth Branch – Eltersdorf) includes a direct connection of the Nuremberg marshalling yard with the ABS Nuremberg - Ebensfeld, bypassing the Nuremberg node via the new line 5955. The double-track freight line begins at km G 4.5 at the new branch point Nuremberg-Kleinreuth and ends approximately at km G 18.3 at the junction station Eltersdorf. The central structure of the new line is the approximately 7.5 km long freight tunnel Fürth. The project is currently moving into phases 6 and 7. The construction services of the railway technical equipment trades are to be tendered and awarded according to the tendering concept in their own tender packages separately from the construction services. Accordingly, the corresponding tender documents for the tender packages of the railway technical equipment are to be prepared in the next step. In the present tendering procedure, the creation of the tender documents for the following railway technical equipment trades is to be commissioned: - Overhead line systems (OLA) - Electrical power systems (50 Hz) - Telecommunications (TK) incl. dBOS system technology (dBOS) As a result, the tender documents for the respective construction tender packages are to be handed over by the AN.
