In the eleven districts of the former Regierungsbezirk Lüneburg, there has been a Regional Management for the Hydrogen Economy since 2020. This serves as a cross-district coordination and support structure aimed at unlocking regional potential and accelerating development processes. The work of the Regional Management is focused on improving sustainable framework conditions for business activities and further strengthening the Nordostniedersachsen region as a hydrogen and transformation hub. These activities are to be continued and further developed in terms of content. The Regional Management is to be organized in such a way that effective support for regional development processes and the consolidation of established structures is enabled. The corresponding work packages are listed in the task and performance description. The total volume is calculated at € 1,0 million gross for a three-year period, of which approximately € 0,66 million gross is earmarked for external services. The measure is expected to be funded with federal funds within the GRW Coordination Framework. The services to be provided by the Regional Management are to be carried out as eligible expenses.
