Germany – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – Rahmenverträge Bauaußenstellen ELT der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Wissenschaften e.V., Liegenschaft Martinsried (MPI: BIOC, PSY)

The Max-Planck-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Wissenschaften e.V. (MPG) is a non-profit research organisation predominantly funded by public means. It maintains and operates 84 institutes and other research facilities of varying size, structure, and remit across Germany, primarily dedicated to fundamental research in the natural and human sciences. The subject of the contract to be awarded is engineering services in the field of ELT technology for technical external sites of the General Administration of the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft. The contract will be concluded as a framework agreement in accordance with § 21 VgV. The subject of the tendering procedure includes the engineering services in the field of ELT technology, referred to as the "Technical External Site," within the scope of ongoing building maintenance, upkeep, and repair of technical building equipment and systems, according to the provided draft contract. The contractual services are based on §§ 53 – 56 HOAI. The Technical External Site supports the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft in the maintenance of its buildings. Maintenance is carried out in accordance with the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft's guidelines for building maintenance. In addition, the contracting authority intends to award planning services for construction measures to the contractor during the term of the framework agreement. The services are usually carried out during ongoing operations. When providing the services, not only the specific requirements of the highly equipped buildings and the corresponding technical systems, but also the usual workflows in research and science must be taken into account. In this respect, the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft places value on the fact that bidders can demonstrate profound knowledge in the field of science and research, as well as experience in carrying out maintenance and repair measures during ongoing operations. The services to be provided must at least comply with the generally accepted rules of the art and meet all the necessary requirements of economy, energy efficiency, and sustainability. By submitting the application for participation, the bidders declare that they are able to provide the services within the specified period and, in particular, that they have the necessary specialist, personal, material, and temporal resources for this purpose. The special requirements for the provision of services may make it necessary to be available frequently/at short notice for coordination meetings on site or in Munich at the request of the contracting authority. This lot includes the following MPIs: BIOC (Max-Planck-Institut für Biochemie) PSY (Max-Planck-Institut für biologische Intelligenz) By submitting an application for participation, the bidders declare that they are able to provide the services within the period mentioned below, and that they have the necessary specialist, personal, and material resources for this purpose.
